Lafayette HA-460 6 Meter AM Tube Transceiver HAM Radio Acquired from the estate of a Silent Key ~ offered today for your review is the Classic Lafayette HA-460. This is a 6 Meter AM Transceiver with crystal or built-in VFO. The radio is clean, all original with good AC power cord. The radio is in good physical condition with a few blemishes on the case and panel but nothing major. Some holes were drilled on the side of the case to accommodate a mic holder for mobile use as it is capable for DC operation as well. All the knobs and switches physically turn and operate correctly, smoothly and as they should without restriction. I do not know if the radio works folks…I powered up the radio briefly and can tell you that the meter on the panel lights up just fine (swings to the far right then settles down to the left as it should). Also the tubes light up as well. Unfortunately I do not have the manual, a microphone or an antenna to test, so I am offering this radio Untested and AS-IS for obvious reasons.
