Did you know that 2 of those wires are not even hooked up to anything inside the famous little "Firecracker" and "Ice Cube Tray" styled housings that have been around since the dawn of time? They give you instructions to solder the other 2 wires, basically to dead-end-streets, just to make you feel like you're doing something major. The housing serves only one purpose, to conceal the truth about what you're not getting, and to help keep the parts from shorting out on the circuit board, but mostly to hide the false interior.
